I'm glad you gave this "trilogy" a proper ending, the only way it could/should have ended. instead of giving it a happy ending that wouldn't really have ended anything at all. Anyone who complains about the ending obviously hasn't watched many zombie movies.
Count how many zombie movies have happy endings (excluding comedies), now count how many of those are good... yeah. You made the right choice.
The animation was a big improvement over the previous ones, little details like the centipede crawling out of the skull were awesome.
The sound effects and music were great too.
Overall, pretty damn good.
